"A STORAGE RECEPTACLE FOR PAST EVENTS, INTERACTIONS AND RELATIONSHIPS" 2006 DVD 4MINS
The DVD "A Storage Receptacle" explores the notion of an “event” that took place prior to exhibition and how this is presented in the exhibition environment as a historical document. The work was presented as two separate pieces "Storage Receptacle" DVD, showing in an adjacent room to "2 Stools, 38 Breezeblocks, 5.1 Surround Sound, 1 Room and explored the selective editing and publication of the event. The presentation methods of sound and vision were split to highlight the radically different cultural metaphors of their respective mediums. |
